Team Heart 2008
Team Heart, a volunteer group from Brigham and Women's Hospital, began a long-term cardiac surgery mission to King Faisal Hospital in Kigali, Rwanda, in April 2008.

End of Year Giving to Team Heart
All proceeds from this gift will help fund Team Heart to provide cardiac surgery to young adults suffering from rheumatic heart disease in Rwanda, a country that has no surgical options. Team Heart is partnering with the citizens of Rwanda to build an "in country" cardiac surgery program, while developing early detection, prevention and education programs to prevent years of suffering and early deaths due to undiagnosed strep infection.

Team Heart 2010: Now accepting applications!
Applications are currently being accepted for respiratory therapy and nursing positions in the ICU and step-down units until November 1, 2009 for the April 2010 team. Exact travel dates for 2010 will vary with position, but will require two weeks between April 6 and April 24. For more information please email: teamheartapplications@gmail.com
